This new, boy's, cotton yukata features blue tigers and dragons over a creme colored background. White colored swirls and dots are also throughout the background. This yukata would make a wonderful robe, beach cover or festival attire for any boy.
The exterior of this yukata was created out of a textured, cotton fabric. The fabric has a wonderful, woven, bumpy texture. The cotton is lightweight with a crisp drape that should become more fluid after laundering.
This yukata is not lined and should be worn with an undergarment (nagajuban) or clothing. Please note that some of the blue areas on the back side of the yukata can be seen on the front, though the fabric.
Children's yukata have white ties (himo) that can be used to tie the yukata closed. The left side of the yukata is placed over the right side and the right tie is passed through the gap in the underarm and around the yukata and is then tied. Usually an obi would be placed over this but it is not necessary when using the yukata as a robe.
